Contact RunWise Pay
Have a question about getting matched with a payroll service? RunWise Pay is a free matching service for businesses, not a payroll provider, and we keep the process simple.

How to reach us
If you want help finding a payroll service, the easiest next step is to use our get matched form. We ask for basic contact and business-intent details so we can understand what kind of payroll help you need.
You can also contact RunWise Pay with general questions about how our matching process works. We are happy to explain what we do, what information we ask for, and what to expect after you submit your request.
RunWise Pay is a free matching service, not a payroll provider, accountant, bookkeeper, or tax advisor. We do not run payroll, file taxes, or give payroll, accounting, tax, or legal advice.
What information we ask for
We keep it simple. We collect contact and business-intent information only, such as your business name, contact name, phone number, optional email, state, how many people you pay, and your preferred language.
We do not ask for sensitive payroll records just to get matched. Please do not send Social Security numbers, EINs, bank account numbers, employee Social Security numbers, or employee personal records through our contact form.
If a payroll provider later speaks with you directly, they may explain what they need for setup. Before sharing anything sensitive, make sure you understand who they are, why they need it, and how they protect your information.
What happens after you contact us
After you submit your request, we review your basic details and try to match you with participating payroll providers that may fit your business. The goal is to save you time, especially if you are setting up payroll for the first time, switching providers, or fixing a payroll problem.
The business owner stays in control. You can compare options, ask questions, confirm what is included, and decide whether to hire anyone.
A simple process usually looks like this:
1. You share basic contact and business details.
2. We try to match you with payroll providers that serve businesses like yours.
3. You speak with providers directly about your needs, timing, and pricing.
4. You confirm in writing what is included before you sign anything.
We cannot promise a provider, a price, or a guaranteed outcome. Rules, taxes, deadlines, and service availability vary by state and can change over time.
Questions about payroll pricing
Many owners contact us because they want a clearer idea of payroll cost before they talk with providers. In general, small-business payroll is often priced as a monthly base fee plus a per-employee or per-pay-run fee. A common starting range might be around $20 to $100+ per month, plus about $4 to $15+ per employee, but the real number depends on team size, pay frequency, what is included, and the state.
Those ranges are general information only, not quotes. Some services include payroll tax filing, direct deposit, year-end W-2 or 1099 forms, new-hire reporting, or support. Others charge extra for some of those items.
Watch for red flags like vague pricing, hidden fees, poor support, pressure to sign quickly, or unclear answers about tax filing. Always confirm in writing what is included before you sign.
A good fit for many small businesses
RunWise Pay is built for small and mid-size US businesses, including owners who are new to the US payroll system or more comfortable speaking a language other than English. We try to make the first step feel less confusing and more practical.
If you are not sure what to ask, that is okay. A short message is enough to get started. Tell us what state you are in, how many people you pay, and whether you are starting payroll, changing providers, or dealing with a payroll issue.
